The Champagne is both a color and pattern mutation that was first proven to be a dominant trait in West Africa in 2005. Hatchlings can be somewhat variable looking exhibiting shades from oranges to tans. However as they mature they all seem to develop a similar shade of light tan/orange with circles and random stripes in the dorsal area. The bellies are a completely white and the eyes solid black. Although the Champagne is a very unique looking morph all on its own, many breeders including ourselves are excited about the combination opportunities that this morph presents. We are thrilled to have Champagnes amongst our collection here at The Urban Python.
